We're the young, married couple behind The Roaming Royles. Our love story started after meeting each other online. With both of us living in nearly two of the furthest locations in Australia we possibly could be from each other and having never met before in person - we bravely planned to go on a road trip together around Tasmania - Tara's home. We decided to spend two weeks camping in a tiny, little rental van, exploring some of the most beautiful places in the world, whilst getting to know one another. We hiked, shared our love of photo + film with each other, swam in the icy cold waters as much as we could (even rainy Cradle Mountain in May - believe it or not!) and over many long chats & campfire wine and cheeseboard nights, we fell in love. Fast forward to early this year, Jacob moved to Tassie to be with me, we bought our very own van to adventure in (yay!), decided to get married and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on one of our favourite beaches on the East Coast. It was the most beautiful day celebrating two kindred spirits becoming one. We now both live on the East Coast of Tasmania with our two sweet kitties and cheeky puppy. When we are not out on location, roaming the state in our van to capture your love story, we spend our time camping, exploring, painting (we're both artists too!) and enjoying the little things in life.
